Vevey

Vevey is a historic lakeside town in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, on the northern shore of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman). In the 17th–18th centuries it was a regional centre of craft production, including pewter workshops that supplied everyday and ceremonial tableware to households along the lake. Master pewterer Pierre-André Utin (1688–1771) worked here; his standing-lion touchmark marks pieces still held in museums and private collections.
