American Britannia / pewter shop identity, Hartford, Connecticut. Kerfoot assigned the seated-lion-on-ribbon touch to the Hartford Boardman shop rather than the New York or Philadelphia branches. This sheet is steward documentation from an owned Relic — not a Cotterell 1929 British entry and not a portrait of a Boardman. As photographed, the ribbon letters on the bonded object read HOAREMAN; the owner catalog reads Boardman-and-Lion, Hartford. Factory numbers 94 over 7 are pattern/size, not a date. Display only: mid-19th-century pewter/Britannia can contain lead.
