Also known as 12 St James's Square, 10 St James's Square, St James's Square town house
12 St James’s Square (formerly 10) was the Lovelace London town house from about 1837 to 1846. Built for them in the Italianate style by Thomas Cubitt. An English Heritage blue plaque records that Ada Countess of Lovelace lived here. The address is associated with the period of the 1843 Notes. This Place Echo locks the London residence phase. It is not the birthplace. It is not the death house. It is not a Relic and not a Chamber.
